What is a “Vendor Member?”

Vendor members are vendors or suppliers who are offering discount programs to the Employees of our Employer members.

How do I access the discounts being offered?

The ESMSNV representative of your Employer will have a unique Member Key Code that you must use to register at www.ESMSNV.org to access the discounts.  You will register from your personal (home) email (unless your Employer allows you to register using your company email) using this Member Key Code; and you must be prepared to establish a Password.  Once registered, you will be able to access the discounts from any device.  (NOTE:  If a work email is used, certain social websites accessed while at work may be blocked by your Employer, or you may not receive the periodic emails or newsletter from our site. If this becomes an issue, discuss it with your Human Resources Representative.) Your immediate family members are also eligible to register using this Member Key Code.

Your Employer will be responsible for communicating the registration process and Member Key Code to all of their Employees.

Does my access to the deals and discounts ever expire?

Your access will expire if your Employer is no longer a member of ESMSNV or you no longer work for that member company, whichever occurs first.  Also note that the Vendor reserves the right to change or discontinue a deal or discount program at any time.

What if I want to search the website to see what is available but cannot use the Internet while I’m at work?

You will have access to the ESMSNV website 24/7 from any device. We just ask that you not share the log-on information with non-members or anyone outside your immediate family members.

Can my spouse or children take advantage of a discount offer?

Yes, your immediate family members are eligible for all deals and discounts in accordance with the specifications as outlined by the Vendor.  Immediate family members are the Employee’s spouse or significant other and children.  Users are required to register using the Member Key Code assigned to your Employer.

What if you don’t have a vendor with the product or service I’m looking for?

Submit a request to contact@ESMSNV.org and we will try to get the company or business you are interested in to join, or we’ll try to add a member who is offering a similar product or service.  You may also ask the vendor to consider joining and refer them to www.ESMSNV.org.  There they will find information about our organization and can apply for membership on-line.  On the Events page, they can find out how to attend their first meeting for free.

What if I see the same vendor advertising a product or service for a lower price than what I can get through ESMSNV?

Report the details to contact@ESMSNV.org. We will need to know where you saw the offer, who is eligible to receive the offer, the product or service details and cost. This is important feedback because we want you to be confident that the price of the product and services you get through ESMSNV is better than what is available to the general public, if at all possible. However, we do not guarantee that ESMSNV members receive the lowest discount.

What if I have a dispute with a product or service I received through an ESMSNV Vendor?

All ESMSNV deals and discounts are accessed and/or purchased at your own risk.

ESMSNV does not guarantee nor is it responsible for any employee services, discount programs, and/or recreational activity offered by the Vendors or their associates.  Employer Member companies and their Employees and family members assume all risks when accessing these programs.   All issues must be addressed directly with the Vendor.

What if I have a question that is not covered in the FAQ’s?

Please email contact@ESMSNV.org with your questions.  A representative will respond within 72 business hours.

Vendor Member
What is the difference between Employer, Vendor, Dual, and Community Service (non-profit) memberships?

Employer members are companies who are striving to offer their employees a well-rounded benefit program that includes Employee Services. These members will typically be represented by Human Resources professionals, Employee Services/Events professionals, Employee Club leadership or Company Store Managers.  Representatives in good standing are eligible to serve on the Board in any Officer position or as an Employer Director as outlined by the Bylaws.

Vendor members are vendors or suppliers that have an interest in new opportunities to grow their customer base and are willing to offer a product or service at a discount that is usually better than what can be obtained by the general public.  Representatives in good standing are eligible to serve on the Board as Treasurer, Secretary or Vendor Director as outlined by the Bylaws.

Dual members are Vendor members who also want to be able to offer all ESMSNV discounts to their employees, as well as offer their discount program to our Employer and Dual members. This option includes Vendor + Employer memberships and are allowed up to two (2) representatives per membership type.

What are the advantages to joining ESMSNV?

  • Your discount program will be made available to thousands of Employees and their immediate family members in Southern Nevada.
  • You will have a 250 x 300 ad on the homepage of our deals site, which links to a page with details about your unique deal or discount for ESMSNV members.
  • Every week an email will go to the Employees of our ESMSNV Employer and Dual members with links to our deals and discounts site.
  • Several times a year we’ll include a listing of your deal in our promotional email to members, which means additional exposure for your company!

How long is my membership valid and when does it expire?

Vendor memberships are valid for one year (a rolling 12-month period).  The company or the individual can be the member and changes are submitted to ESMSNV.  The representative(s) can be updated at any time by notifying ESMSNV at contact@ESMSNV.org.  All Representatives, Employees of our member companies, and their immediate family members agree to abide by the ESMSNV Code of Ethics upon acceptance as a member.  A membership may be revoked if there is a violation of the Code of Ethics.

Is there anything that would prevent a Vendor from becoming a member?

If requested, Vendor members who cannot show a good rating by the BBB or provide acceptable references may be declined.  Vendors are required to be in business for a minimum of one (1) year; however, this requirement may be waived by the Board.  Vendor memberships are tentatively approved but not finalized until the Board has reviewed the business and approved the discount program.  The Vendor will be notified within seven (7) business days of the status of their application.

**Membership Limitations**:  The Board reserves the right to limit the number of Vendor members in some same or similar industries, i.e. Employment Agencies, Real Estate Agencies, Financial Planners, Insurance Agencies, and others as determined by the Board in order to preserve the value of certain memberships.  Contact ESMSNV to check on vendor membership limitations.

Who is eligible to access my Vendor deal or discount?

All of the Employees and their immediate family members (spouse or significant other and children) of our Employer and Dual Members must register to have access to all ESMSNV deals and discounts 24/7 from any device.  ESMSNV will assist our Employer and Dual Members to get their Employees registered.  Also note that you can change or discontinue a deal or discount program at any time.

Business to Business (B2B) Discount:  If a Vendor offers a program that is directed to the business or must be set up through the Human Resources representative, the Vendor can contact the representative of each Employer or Dual Member directly.  Vendors are also allowed to set up direct ticket sales and/or consignment programs with our Employer and Dual members.  B2B discount programs will be listed on our website under DISCOUNTS > Locals > B2B for review by our Employer Representatives.

As a Vendor member, can I take advantage of a discount that another member is offering?

It is up to the individual Vendor member if they want to extend a discount to you personally.  If a Vendor member wants to be able to offer all of the discounts to their Employees, they must enroll as a Dual Member and pay the applicable annual dues (see the definition of a Dual Member above).  Email contact@ESMSNV.org for more information on a Dual Membership.

What if an Employee sees my Company advertising a product or service for a lower price than what I am offering through ESMSNV?

We prefer that our Vendor Members offer a discount program that is unique to ESMSNV members only, if at all possible.  This helps us to promote the value of membership in ESMSNV.

The Employee is asked to report the details to contact@ESMSNV.org and we will address it with the Vendor Member.  ESMSNV wants the Employees to be confident that the price of the products and services they get through ESMSNV is better than what is available to the general public, if at all possible.  However, ESMSNV does not guarantee that our members receive the lowest discount.

What if a Member Company or Employee has a dispute with a product or service I offered through ESMSNV?

Anyone who is eligible to access or purchase an ESMSNV deal or discount assumes all risks.

Employers/Community Service Member
What is the difference between Employer, Vendor, Dual, and Community Service (non-profit) memberships?

Employer members are companies who are striving to offer their employees a well-rounded benefit program that includes Employee Services. These members will typically be represented by Human Resources personnel, Employee Services/Events professionals, Employee Club leadership or Company Store Managers and are allowed up to four (4) representatives.  Representatives in good standing are eligible to serve on the Board in any Officer position or as an Employer Director.

Vendor members are vendors or suppliers that have an interest in new opportunities to grow their customer base and are willing to offer a product or service at a discount that is usually better than what can be obtained by the general public and are allowed up to two (2) representatives.  Representatives in good standing are eligible to serve on the Board as Treasurer, Secretary, or Vendor Director.

Dual members are Vendor members who also want to be able to offer all ESMSNV discounts to their employees, as well as offer their discount program to our Employer members and/or their Employees.  This option includes Vendor + Employer memberships and are allowed up to two (2) representatives per membership type.

Community Service members are non-profit organizations who want to enhance their Employee Services program and would like the opportunity to promote their fund-raising events through ESMSNV.  ESMSNV limits the complimentary Community Service memberships to two (2).  They are allowed up to two (2) representatives, and the annual dues are waived for these members.

What are the advantages to joining ESMSNV?

Membership provides one-stop shopping for all of your Employees and their immediate family members, giving them direct access to numerous local and national deals and discounts, regardless of the company’s employee size.

Your Employees will have direct access to Local Deals, National Deals, Discount Tickets to theme parks, theaters, concerts, movies and more, and travel deals.

You will also enjoy an easy registration process for your Employees with full support from ESMSNV.

As a Human Resources or Employee Services professional, you will also enjoy networking opportunities with our members, as well as gaining valuable information by attending our monthly chapter meetings.

How long is my Company’s membership valid and when does it expire?

Memberships are valid for one year (a rolling 12-month period).  The company is the member for Employer memberships. Also note that the Vendor reserves the right to change or discontinue a deal or discount program at any time.

Is there anything that would prevent a company from becoming a member?

There are no limitations for Employer Members.  If requested, Vendor applicants who cannot show a good rating by the BBB or provide acceptable references may be declined.   Vendor applicants are tentatively approved but not finalized until the Board has reviewed the business and approved the discount program.  The Board reserves the right to limit the number of Vendor Members in some same or similar industries in order to preserve the value of the membership.  We also limit the complimentary Community Service memberships to two (2) at any given time.

How do the employees access the discounts being offered?

The ESMSNV representatives of each Employer or Dual member company will be provided a unique Member Key Code that their Employees must use to register at www.ESMSNV.org to access the discounts.  Employees will register from their personal (home) email (unless their Employer allows them to register using their company email) using this Member Key Code, and the Employee must be prepared to establish a Password.  Once registered, they will be able to access the discounts from any device.  (NOTE:  If a work email is used, certain social websites accessed while at work may be blocked by the Employer, or Employees may not receive the periodic emails or newsletter from our site. If this becomes an issue, discuss it with your company’s technical support.) Your Employees’ immediate family members are also eligible to register using this Member Key Code.

ESMSNV will provide the Employer Representatives with a template email to personalize to use to communicate the registration process and Member Key Code to their Employees.

All ESMSNV representatives for your company should also register as an Employee using the Member Key Code assigned to your company in order to access the discounts.

What does “B2B” (Business to Business) mean under DISCOUNTS >Locals?

For some of our Vendors, their discount program is directed to the Company and not the Employees, such as a temporary placement agency, or their program has to be set up through the Company’s Human Resources or Employee Services representative.  Your Employees should click on DISCOUNTS>Local.  If a Human Resources representative is looking for programs directed for company use, they should click on DISCOUNTS>Local>B2B and contact the Representative to set up their discount program for their Employees or to access the program for their company.  Vendors are also allowed to set up direct ticket sales and/or consignment programs with our Employer and Dual members.

What if our Employees want to search the website to see what is available but cannot access the Internet or this site while at work?

Employees will have access to the ESMSNV website 24/7 from any device. We just ask that employees not share the log-on information with non-members or anyone outside their immediate family members.

Can an Employee’s spouse or children take advantage of a discount offer?

The Employees of an Employer or Dual member company and their immediate family members are eligible to receive all deals.  Immediate family members are the Employee’s spouse or significant other and children. Users are required to register using the Member Key Code assigned to their Employer.

What if an Employee asks about a vendor, product or service that is not found on the site?

You or the Employee can submit a request to contact@ESMSNV.org and we will try to get the company or business to join, or we’ll try to add a member who is offering a similar product or service.  You or the Employee may also ask the vendor to consider joining and refer them to www.ESMSNV.org.  There they will find information about our organization and can apply for membership on-line.  On the Events page, they can find out how to attend their first meeting for free.

What if an Employee sees the same company advertising a product or service for a lower price than what they can get through ESMSNV?

Report the details to contact@ESMSNV.org. We will need to know where they saw the offer, who is eligible to receive the offer, the product or service details and cost. This is important feedback because we want the Employees to be confident that the price of the product or services they get through ESMSNV is better than what is available to the general public, if at all possible.  However, we do not guarantee that ESMSNV members receive the lowest discount.

What if an Employee has a dispute with a product or service they received through an ESMSNV Vendor?

Anyone who is eligible to access or purchase an ESMSNV deal or discount assumes all risks.

ESMSNV does not guarantee nor is it responsible for any employee services, discount programs, and/or recreational activities offered by the Vendors or their associates.  Employer and Dual Member companies and their Employees and family members assume all risks when accessing these programs. All issues must be addressed directly with the Vendor.
